Has anyone see those camels? perhaps the heat down South is confusing them – although I’m blaming Daylight Saving Time.November 10, 2009 at 11:41 am #433090
Slight hiccup, apparently, Muster. Your swap will be in the mail this coming weekend, so I’ve been told.
Are they the camels you were referring to or the ones delivering your swap to its destination?November 10, 2009 at 12:17 pm #433091
I assume from the camel question and something Barb mentioned to me that Muster is my SB. If so, the camels have gotten lost. However, I am sure someone is enjoying your recipes and that they have not gone to waste
To my SB – Don’t stress about the camel problem. Perhaps the camel drivers got hungry and enjoyed the recipes so much that they wanted to keep them 🙂 Lady B has told me about the camel problem  Please don’t stress about it. Thank you for the sending and thought. We’ll just believe that the camel drivers are enjoying your recipe swap :hug:November 10, 2009 at 12:23 pm #433092
you’ve put 2 and 2 together and come up with 5. Wrong!November 10, 2009 at 12:27 pm #433093
Hahaha!!!! Well – doesn’t matter who my SB is – the camel drivers are still enjoying the swap. Will play guess the clues tomorrow 😉 I know it’s someone who’s posted but that has not had corresponding receipt message and someone who lives close to me.November 10, 2009 at 8:36 pm #433094
Hi everyone. Im back from America. Glad to see the swaparoonee for recipes has been done. Pity I missed it. But I will post up a recipe in due course for Cinnamon Rolls, which are eaten at breakfast time over there…OMG are they GOOD!!!!! I couldn’t get enough of them…too darn fattening to have all the time though. Looking forward to putting a few things on the recipe site in a few days time. My body clock and the aussie clock are at war as we speak! lol. Been awake since 3 thismorning. hehe Love to you all…I’ve missed you!November 10, 2009 at 9:56 pm #433095
No my camels were sent on their way early.
Shadowdancer – those Cinnamon Rolls sound gooood. Breakfasts in US always amused me – huge, but delicious. I really loved their salad bars – an eating idea we should adopt.November 10, 2009 at 10:46 pm #433096
Received my recipes last week (sorry for the delay in thanking you SB). I will be trying them out in the next week, they look very yummy.November 11, 2009 at 4:34 am #433097
Oooh my recipe book arrived today!! Thanks so much Lizzy in Burnie, it is really lovely!! I especially appreciate the notes about each recipe, and am going to give the Chocolate Coconut Slice a whirl today as my kids are desperate for some afternoon tea and lunchbox treats!
Thanks again to Lady B for all the organizing and behind the scenes work that has gone into this swap! Much appreciated!November 11, 2009 at 7:55 pm #433098
Phew!!! I am glad that my mail did not go astray…..
Glad you liked the recipes and notes…I had so much trouble choosing which ones to send…
Lizzy 😀November 12, 2009 at 8:33 am #433099
Ooh !!! My present was at the post office waiting for me. I should asked yesterday for something for ‘Herbman’. Lady B did tell me to do that, but I don’t follow directions well (just ask Teacup about how poorly I followed directions to her place).
Thank you sooooo much!!! It’s awesome. The red & white apron is fabulous and I LOVE stripes!! And red is a good colour for me.
And as for all the chocolate recipes. I mean … YUMMO!!!
I am so sorry to my swap buddy for all the dramas. I don’t think I got the green tag in the mail to pick it up. But fortunately our post office has a small town kinda attitude despite being a suburb in a big city.
My guess is that it’s from Mudhen? It’s from Emerald, which is in Central Qld …November 12, 2009 at 8:45 am #433100
Yes, you got it right, Herbman! Lol it was a bit of a drama, and I know how sloppy my PO is with letters and parcels, so when after a week you hadn’t recieved it, I did a bit of investigating! I hope you enjoy the recipes as much as I (and my family!) have! Glad the apron is ok too!November 12, 2009 at 10:03 am #433101
Don’t believe Herbman when he says that he had much trouble finding the place… It was great having you visit here last Saturday, Herbie.
Glad that you have solved the riddle of the recipes, too:wave:November 12, 2009 at 12:00 pm #433102
Oh dear -those camels are well and truly late by now. Tomorrow will be two weeks since it was posted 🙁
