Congratulations Andre.  I hope it works out well for you.
And it will keep the wolf from the door until your dreams are fulfilled.
Congratulations Andre, looks like a very exciting future.
Way to go Andre! All the best for the new position.
Big congrats, Andre!
Two irons in the fire- that’s terrific.
Well done mate  All the best for the opportunities both these will provide and have a great Christmas as well :cheer: :cheer:
well done Andre,
When do you start?
Start on 9 Jan 2012.
And again, thankyou all for your thoughts
I should also apologise for being … ‘self-indulgent? or self-centered’ in posting about the recent changes in my life. Some of it has been good, some not so, but what one might consider ‘hard-going’ would be nothing in comparison to what others have been through. I guess losing the 18+ years of the security- blanket that Defence gives threw me.
Thanks all, for your confidence 🙂

Oh pooooo Andre, lots of the rest of us share stuff with our als family, why should you be any different.
Sometimes just putting stuff into words and seeing them written helps to clarify matters. Then when we get opinions and ideas from others who are interested and caring but not personally and emotionally involved, that can give support and/or alternative ways of looking at our issues.
Have a splendiferous Christmas and a forward leaping Happy New Year Andre.
Bobbs
I second Bobbee!
Yep, me too. That is what friends are for and ALS people probably understand more than most.
 Andre, I just read back a couple of pages and well done.
BTW that’s what ALS friends are for, I probably 3rd Bobbs! 🙂
I 4th bobbee  Having someone to share ideas with helps put them in perspective 🙂
