On one hand I love the rain for filling the tank ready for our move into the caravan, on the other hand we are frustrated as we need to level two areas for shipping containers for the move this week! Mud is not our friend right now!
Our bantams are loving it with the snaqils and worms coming closer the the surface of the soil…and they are as muddy as hell!
Any spare rain can come over to WA -we are still waiting for the winter rains to settle in. At the moment we get a storm, a shower or two in some areas but not others, followed by days and days of dry weather.
We’ve had some rain up on the NW coast as well. It’s been very nice. But I could use a dry day or two to do the washing….
OI!!! TT!! You’re heading in my direction without any other comment! How rude!!!!!
It’s actually raining here but we could do with much more.
we got some in Mildura but I’m loving it, temporarily takes some of my Murray River anxiety away. i would love to go see Lake Eyre – anyone been to see it this year?
Tassie Tiger, does that mean you might get to see little birds like Black-fronted Dotterels at Calverts Lagoon? Hope so 🙂 I grew up in Tas and studied Hooded Plovers so very jealous! (don’t get me started on Ralphs Bay)
We’re kind of hoping to see a bit of water in Lake Dulverton if this keeps up much longer … It will be nice – it has been a paddock for so long …
Someone was listening and sent the rain, 28mm since Saturday, thanks. now I dont have to take the washing to town.
