Has anyone made (from scratch) the clear looking soaps? I can find lots of melt and pour ‘recipes’ for it. I’m not even sure of the correct name so that’s not helping. Any recipes out there? Is it a different kind of fat? Different process?
You need alcohol to make it Leecy. I would have tried it except it sounded too complex and wasting good overproof Vodka for soap making is a shame and expensive.
Oh K, wonder if anyone here has tried it…
It’s far easier to buy the glycerine soap base in bulk. It’s essentially the same as you’d make yourself.
I tried it with as Gianna said overproof vodka and got a clearish soap….to bloody expensive:jawdrop: It was the same as normal soap just visually different:shrug:
Oh bummer, I’m not *that* interested in it. I just thought if it was something easy it would be worth a try. Opaque soap for me!
