I am sure there was a previous thread about this, but couldn’t find it, and not sure it got any answers anyway!
We are thinking of directing the run off water from the evaporative cooler (on our roof) so it would collect in the new rainwater tank, and then be used on the garden… anyone know if this is OK?
I wouldn’t even bother directing the water to the rainwater tank… I just added extra hose to my run off hose and moved it around the backyard. This was when I lived in NW-NSW for 10 years and had a green backyard at all times in the summer months, ’cause they do go through a lot of water…. 😆
We’ve done a similar thing with hose on lemon tree of avocado during the summer!
Sounds like a good plan using the hose……
Yes most people do
