We have just been given four chooks, the only problem is I have no idea what breed they are. They are black with a greenish tinge and have fantail.
Thanks in advance 😛
I’m no help but I wanted to say how gorgeous it is… Lucky you…
Ah I do have a pic of this bird in one of my books…..which in itself is in one of the many boxes behind me as we are about to move house. Sorry!
Can I get a bit more info? are they thin or plump looking? bantam or large?
what type of comb? standard stand up comb or a flat looking one? a pic would be good.
It looks like a black rosecomb………
hamburgs id guess
I was going to say Hamburgs too.. but Steve’s link looks a bit like the pic too, .. don’t you think ?
rosecombs are hard to come by,so id be suprised if thats what they are but hamburgs are fairly common
hmmm, yeah… good point!
It looks beautiful 🙂 Sorry i have no idea what breed it is.
Thanks everyone, I looked at photos of Humburgs and they looked the same, I have never heard of them before, so I am going to have to find out more information on them
Thanks again :cheer:
