so its starting to heat up up here and the winter veg is starting to go to flower. My one and only brocili head had two little flowers when I checked it today, so I picked it and pulled off the flowers but am now wondering if I can still eat it. is it ok to eat if it started to flower  and if I keep picking off the flower heads on the pak choy and chines veg can I keep eating the leaves
Of course. My broccoli is also flowering but I just pick the flowers off and eat away. Most fruit and veg is perfectly safe to eat at most stages of growth despite it’s palpability or gastronomic qualities. Some parts should not be eaten like rhubarb leaves but most if not all fruit and vegg can be eaten either side of it’s ideal.
I hope you are eating those flowers, not just chucking them away!!
I eat the flowers too 🙂
 thanks for that, I just wonted to check.
..I hear some people smoke the flowers
