I’ve finally put my australorps together and hoping for a few fertile eggs soon. I’ve only just started showing and have found it an excellent thing to be involved in! Not only that I also get heaps of great eggs for eating! Does anyone else breed show chickens?

    Beautiful looking birds Jye.

I haven’t noticed much chooken chat on site lately and there was usually lots of that going on.   Maybe as the weather warms up down south the chooken folk may spring  (hehehe) into action.

    Have fun with your Australorps.

    Thanks very much 🙂

I’ve finally got some in the incubator ! Hopefully hatch in about twenty days. Do you have any chooks?

No, none of my own but I take an interest in a family flock and the chooken stories on als have been happy, funny, sad and nearly always interesting so that has kept me reading the relevant threads.

A lot of people take great pleasure in/from their ‘girls’ and roos.
