good luck with the opens/auction! The place looks lovely so hopefully it will sell well.July 27, 2013 at 6:44 pm #533035BobbeeMember
Your home looks wonderful Bel, a great place for someone to buy. You just need the ‘right’ family and that’s it.
It must be hard to leave a home like that, but then you can do heaps more with all the extra space in the new place.
Good luck with finding a buyer, and good luck with the new place.

Thanks everyone. We do feel like we’re in limbo at the moment. We will be somewhat sad to leave this place, but also very excited to move to a much bigger property. We can’t wait. We are stressing so much that we won’t get what we need for this place to make it happen, but have to believe that if it’s meant to be, then it will happen. At least we’ll know one way or the other after 10 Aug, then we can start making more concrete plans.July 28, 2013 at 2:38 am #533037mudhenMember
I’ve been thinking of you this weekend, Bel – you are amazing to have gotten through so much in such a short time! Your place looks amazing in the photos, just like in real life!! I have no doubt the right person is out there just waiting for your place to be available. I’m sure you’ll do well at auction. Your real estate agent has done a great job so far! I’ve been sick with a rotten cold or would have brought my family through lol! Will try and catch you soon.July 29, 2013 at 1:42 am #533038
thanks mudhen! It really doesn’t look much like the last time you were here – much less clutter and mess :-). Sorry to hear you haven’t been well. Hope things are looking up for you soon. I’m trying to keep positive during this period, but we want to move to the Mt Pleasant property so much that the thought of not selling our place does get me down at times. Just under 2 weeks to go now, so we’ll know for sure soon!August 2, 2013 at 12:51 am #533039fruitfulMember
I’m so excited for you Bel, finally it is happening for you!! Even with the stresses that you are encountering I know that when you finally wake up in your new place things will be much easier to deal with. Of course I can’t wait for it to be all over coz then we get to visit?!?!?
Your place ticks all the boxes so I don’t think you’ll have to wait too long to sell it for a good price.August 2, 2013 at 2:11 am #533040
Thanks fruitful!! Counting down now. Two more opens this weekend, one on Weds, then auction next Saturday. We’ve been watching old River Cottage doco’s plus River Cottage Australia and getting lots of ideas.
And we can’t wait to have everyone up to the new place if it all works out! We can host a GTG – yay!August 4, 2013 at 5:39 pm #533041VanessaMember

Well, for an update….
Our house was passed in at Auction yesterday, but we decided in the end to take the highest bid. We didn’t get as much as we would have liked, but we can still move to our dream property – yay! Things might be a bit tighter and we won’t be able to make some of the improvements we wanted to, but we’ll be on a property on 25 acres of gorgeous land – woohoo!
Thanks for all your kind words and encouragement. Looking forward to having a GTG there in a few months time 🙂August 11, 2013 at 1:12 am #533046KristyMember
How exciting Bel, that’s such great news you were able to sell so quickly, thought you might have done when you mentioned your moving date on my thread. You must all be very excited. I know I’m looking forward to seeing pictures!August 11, 2013 at 2:19 am #533047froot_loopzMember
