    I could use some help.

    I have 5 machines and 3 ribbers and no idea!

    Sounded like such a brilliant idea when a friend wanted to get rid of them…

    Well, been surfing, and discovered for a start I probably need to replace all my sponge bars…I didn’t even know they had them!

    (though come to think, when we cleaned one up with the air compressor lots of bits of foam came out)

    I have 2 singer memomatic beds in good nick, one with a broken carriage. A ribber to fit, basicly new in box (except for the attachment bracket which wasn’t in the box, but I’m fairly sure is in the random box of bits I got with it) Seems to work fairly well, though tension is a bit of an issue. Probably user error.

    I have 3 older singer beds 1960’s vintage in various states of repair and rust. 2 ribbers to match. One decent carriage.

    I can get them up and working, but I think I need the kind of tips any beginner needs. You know the ones where you smack your head and go ‘der’.
