I learnt to add pics the other day so I thought I would take a wander around the place and show you how my patch is going.

Keep in mind though I have only been back in the veg garden ganme for about 2 years now so things are a bit slow moving, plus I have to fit it in between work.

My 1st pic is of a wick bed with cabbages transplanted carrots silverbeet and a brussel sprout plant

On the left is a small meyer lemon it has only been in the ground a few months, when I was given it it was a very sad looking speciman of a plant but with some TLC recovered enough to be planted, near that is a mulberry cutting-still in leaf and one next to it with no leaves,in the small fridge is my rhubarb

This is where the girls live, they have a trap-door in the floor to exit the enclosure and gain access to their yard area, the tarps are to keep the wind and rain out,the left end is enclosed ,this is where they roost and supposedly lay,I can open the back and lift the nest top and gain access to the eggs that way.

This a bit more of the girls yard and the other end of the coop is the same amount of room also,so if they dont get to come out they still have enough room to do what chooks like doing

This is where the orchard is going, there is one peach tree grown from a seed from the feral peach down the back beautiful peaches with yellow flesh.

The dark brown stuff on the ground is silage mixed with horse poo and grass clippings all mied with a bob cat ,we spread it out with a dingo wasnt that the best fun.I really enjoyed using that little machine too bad they cost a fortune.

I love seeing pics of other people places - apart from the complete space envy I suffer from!! Love all the dead fridges - i know what I'll be taking from the next hard rubbish collection!!!

Great garden Karyn!! I really love looking at other peoples' photos. What great use of old fridges - I hate to think how many of them go into landfill. Like Anja, I too suffer from space envy! Would love to have a bigger flock of chooks and a rooster one day too....
