Looks very similar to my garden 6 years ago Bry, have fun and enjoy.
Doesnt look like you have the rocks to dig out first tho.
Draw up a plan, even if vague, get your largest trees placed first, may need tree surrounds to stop things eating them, work down to smaller plantings.
Can send some plants as garden warming present for cost of postage if you like, much of my stuff would grow there well too.

Thank you all for your kind words,the welcome and your offer of some plants. I thought I would start my log from the begining to show what it was like when we started.
