Re: treatment of bruising
My daughter fell and gave herself a full-on googy-egg right on her forehead. The bruise came out immediately (and I'm told that if that happens there is rarely anything to worry about, head injury-wise, I mean). Anyhow, my friend had this amazing product called Magna-bloc which she keeps in a case in her car. They were just magnets in the shape of a disk as far as I could work out just by looking at them.
To be honest, I was sceptical, but I let her put a sticky patch on the magnet and stick it right on my daughter's bump. She wore it that way (and it didn't bother her at all) for a few hours until it fell off. In that time, the bump receded almost back to normal. Two days later the bruise had come out in lovely shades of green and purple EXCEPT for the circle where the magnet had been!! It seems pretty obvious that the magnets work, but I can't for the life of me understand how or why.
Anyhow, just thought I'd share. My friend claims the magnets are a bit expensive, around $50 each, but they are totally natural and reusable. I just did a google search and found this:

Not meaning to spam but I'm convinced that they work!
