I maybe very wrong but I believe that the plant you referred to as Land Cress is indeed Lebanese Cress. Land cress has a more rounded leaf the Lebanese Cress has a fern like structure and does not mind growing in the shade but still likes water, but not as much as water cress.

Purslane is the fleshy, rounded leaf plant growing in the photo, yes.. it is the other jagged leaf one that I wish to know the name of. It is no longer growing, it seems to have a very short growing period.
Purslane is a very good source of omega 3.. & the chooks love it too!

Is the one you are querying purselain, the one with rounded fleshy leaves, or also called pig weed I think.I have been pulling it up but I think I should have been eating it? The paler green one looks like another "weed" I pull out ........I wonder?
