Still my chooks are not laying. They are all looking so beautiful and healthy, I see no signs of an egg eater so it is very frustrating. I do have on chook still clucky but she is only dominating one nest so they can use the others. Other than the fun factor of chooks I sometimes think it is far easier and more cost effective to buy eggs. Grrr

We have a real boggy problem happening in our back yard and have installed a pump system (don't ask me how it works) that pumps out extra water and puts it elsewhere. The yard was drying up but the pump packed it in so while it is getting fixed the water has really started to build up again. I am so glad we don't have Christmas at our house this year or the kids would be slip sliding all about the mud for the fun of it.
