Mint

Hi all, I'm sure a few of you have plenty of mint like I do if you put it in the garden instead of a pot.  I'm happy to let mine roam in the shady part of the garden well away from the vegie patch.

I'd like to know what uses people have for their mint, either culinary or as a herb?

Currently I use mine in the chook pen and occasionally inside to ward off fleas and mites - seems to work ok.

Have just been reading about it being used in a decoction to minimise dark circles under eyes.  (Can you tell my exams are coming up? : P ) Has anyone else tried this?

I've just expanded my mint collection to include vietnamese mint so now I have this plus regular mint, chocoalate and apple.

Looking forward to your suggestions.

Vietnamese mint is super yum in stir fries, but use small amounts to begin with as it has a robust effect on the flavour.

I use a variety of mints in herbal teas but I especially enjoy sage, come to think of it maybe adding mint to the sage would
be tasty. I dried peppermint a few years ago and found a large glass jar of it just a week or two ago and the mint is in
perfect condition. I haven't made a tea from it yet but must, just to check on the strength.
